We’ve just heard from our friends at the IET that a teaser video is available introducing the finalists for the Young Woman Engineer of the Year Award. The award is next Thursday, 6 December (you can attend for free!) and you can watch the trailer below.

This year’s shortlist features young women who have helped develop the world’s most advanced helmet for jet aircraft pilots, upgraded the largest nuclear fusion reactor in Europe, manufactured the Demon Unmanned Air Vehicle, helped build London’s iconic tower, The Shard, researched new approaches to surgical planning, and engineered solutions to bring sustainable water supplies to underdeveloped countries.
