The IET Young Woman Engineer of the Year Award 2012 is searching for an outstanding and dynamic young female engineering or technology apprentice under the age of 30.
Talent 2030 Hero, Charlotte Joyce won the award last year. Winning the award has given her the opportunity to visit schools and show young people first hand what you can achieve with a career in engineering. Other Talent 2030 Heroes honoured by the award in the past include Jamie-Leigh Clayton and Laurie-ann Benner. See our Heroes page to learn more about these outstanding young women: www.talent2030.org/heroes/
You can read even more inspiring stories at the IET Young Woman Engineer of the Year Awards website.
Nominations must be received by 30 July 2012 so if you know someone you feel personifies the qualities described by the award, or believe you meet the criteria yourself, hurry over to the IET website to complete your nomination: http://conferences.theiet.org/ywe/index.cfm
